Do all the riders wear a glove?

Hello,
It would appear I am getting worse at this whole update thing, though I hope once I get back into the swing it'll become routine again.
This semester is mostly based around work based learning which sounds rather fun to me as I just need to make a website but keep my "boss" updated with my progress. If I wasn't procrastinating so much I'd have finished it already, but we do have a while to get it done, I think I'll try and get it finished early so I have plenty of time to bug test everything.
I am also getting very bored very fast of the drunken arse holes who live around me this year, every night at stupid past I should be sleeping o'clock some drunken pricks start screaming about whatever it is drunks scream about, or put in their kick the side of the van music at so loud my ears bleed.
There is no wonder why people hate students, I mean I have a project I want to get finished which involves using a Dremel, but I don't want to disturb people with the sound of a 10,000RPM motor spinning during the day, which isn't a consideration they would ever be willing to show.
As a final thought, another film rant, in Black Hawk Down a guy gets nicked in the next by a stray round so he went to the field medic, and got the standard dressing slapped on his neck, then after their mission was finished he goes back to the base medic who takes off the field dressing looks at the wound, puts back the original soiled dressing and ties or tourniquet around his neck. HIS NECK!

Hello,
So it has been a while since I last got round to one of these, but I am clinically lazy, so I have constantly been putting it off.
On Sunday (13th) I went to my first skirmish of the year, and the new Manchester site is pretty damn awesome, though the photographer they had didn't get any snaps of me being all manly and rugged, which is an annoyance as I am yet to get any photos of me doing anything more than posing. Though I did get some good tips from people, like a bit of black duct tape around the fore grip will remove the rattle, plus it'll be more securely attached to the weapon.
I have a letter floating around here somewhere that I need to chuck in the post, but a mix of my clinical laziness and the fact I keep getting into fights with the person I am supposed to be sending it to means I just put it off even more. It is a ridicules situation to be in, and I should have chucked it in the mail weeks ago.
I am now abusing my body more too, as I rarely go to the gym now I needed to find another way to spend a day or two in total agony, so I started doing a lot of very basic exercises (sit ups, push ups, etc) but I don't do them to a number, I do them until I cannot move, then I rest for a bit, and do it all again. The result is muscles that feel like they have been ripped open and filled with chilli powder, but it just means I'll end up all buff again.
Also, I have got a little better at cooking, because I was procrastinating so I didn't need to do a food shop I grabbed what I had in the cupboard (rice, tuna, curry sauce, and chilli) threw it together and made a rather nice curry, agreed it was weird using tuna, but with Cayenne Pepper thrown into the rice as it boiled, and all the chilli that went into the source, you couldn't taste anything but fire. It. Was. Awesome.

A whole lot of people would say she had it coming.

Hello,
So it is almost 2008 and I figured maybe I should get round to making a news post. I would to an invintory of what I got for Christmas, but I'm too lazy for that, so I'll just keep it short.
After watching movies for god knows how many hours recently I have learnt one thing. Left handed cops are the most likely to go corrupted, take S.W.A.T. for example, the movie is rather poor, but the two cops who end up trying to free the Frog are the only lefties you see in the whole movie. So if you ever find yourself on a team and one of the other team members are a lefty, kill them now, so they don't double cross you and kill you first.
I can't think of anything logical to say this week.

Hello,
I missed a week, but there you go, it isn't really as though I have done a vast amount in two weeks, I am at home for the Christmas holiday, which is niceish. The weather has been so cold you could strike a match off my nipples, yet for whatever reason still no snow. Which sucks.
I got stabbed in my arm by a wench on Monday so now I wont die of the flu, and also got told off by the same wench for not getting it done sooner, but being as I was at university it did make things slightly hard, but there you go. I then spent the rest of the day helping my sister back some things as she is moving on Friday - which I have also managed to agree to help load the van then too - and getting annoyed by NTL as the web went down from about 6pm until about 7am, which was an annoyance. Also left me feeling slightly guilty when I woke up.
I should really go to Christmas shopping as I've put it off somewhat, but yay for beer run. Got a nice stash of alcohol built up for the holiday, shame most of it is Fosters, but got a nice amount of John Smiths, so I can get nicely drunk on the Smiths then drink Fosters when I'm too drunk to care.
Take care, ~Jordan |

What have you got against Bobby?

Hello,
The way things have been going maybe I should think about moving my updates to Tuesdays as I almost always seem to be making them on a Tuesday. Though really that isn't such a good idea as knowing me if I changed it to Tuesdays I'll start making them on Wednesdays, and before long Thursdays, then Fridays. It is a circle which I can only beat if I wasn't such a lazy bastard.
So this weekend I get to go home, so I really need to pack some junk away, but me being me, I'm a lazy bastard so I haven't done it yet, naturally, so I'll probably do it the night before like I always do.
Right now I am waiting on the tutor to come over to me so I can demo my HCI program so I can get back to my flat and arse about for the rest of the week. Good fun had by all.
It has come to my attention that I have expensive taste, I have seen an awesome trench coat but it costs £150. But it is a really nice coat, has everything I want, just it costs so damn much. I'm too lazy to finish this, maybe later I'll edit the post.
edit: So despite my excessive swearing today, most of what I said still applies, so I wont change any of it, just add this small addition.
During HCI I bumped into a guy from my first year who I have mentioned in old news posts (Joe for those interested) and spent the best part of the workshop talking to him as I waited for Lee (the tutor) to get to me to demo the program, which scored around mid level, which to be frank was better than I expected for a program I threw together in the 30 minutes the night before, and it only got 30 minutes because I got tired and got an early night as I all-nighter'd it the night before, which seems a little silly really as there was no reason for it. Strangely I woke up 5 minutes before someone decided to chat to me, which was kinda weird but I seem to be doing it a lot lately, I'll be sleeping fine then just randomly wake up and before I get round to going back to sleep my computer will bleep to tell me someone wants to talk.
But I digress, after HCI we made our way to YOURS (formally Lowery, but because it caught fire it was renamed when they rebuilt it) and had lunch there, the prices are amazingly cheap and the food was good, the coffee is a touch meh (Fair Trade fr you), but they did put a double espresso in a mug and topped it up with water because the standard coffee wasn't strong enough, which was nice of them, and tasted much better than the coffee. We spent a few hours in there chatting about junk, had a few cups of coffee and then he went to catch a train home.
Good day, and slightly more constructive than normal, plus I now know that despite it's ridicules name YOURS is a pretty damn good cafe/bar, so I'll probably end up going there more often next semester.
Take care, ~Jordan |
