So she took away someone I did.

Hello,
I'm back home to a newly decorated room, and blam, I have less space then ever. I got a new bed, and it is half the hight with half the storage space, which means the battle for space (which I almost won) has started all over again. I have no shelving, new draws, CD and DVD racks on the walls. I even have my TV attached to a wall bracket so that doesn't take up any space, and I need more space. I should probably go through all of my things and find stuff to sell and/or chuck out, just so I have a little more space.
The job hunt has been put on temporary hold as I woke up late (plus I don't know where the agency is), so I'll get onto that when I'm next in town, which will probably be when I go to get my watch fixed.
I cannot wait to get back to Manchester though, I've arranged to go out for a drink with an old friend and catch up, which will be nice as she is pretty cool. Add to the fact that I should have my own bike by then, which will be even nicer.
Lucky for me it would appear the price of CB500s has come down (though the one I was eye balling has been sold, which I expected to happen), so I can get my bike sooner. My first target is get out of the red and get the cash for the license, then I can go to saving for the bike, plus a helmet so I can ride the thing.
Take care, ~Jordan |

I took away someone she loved.

Hello,
So I went airsofting at H&K Tactical World again, and it was another (all be it a low turn out) good day of shooting people, though I learnt that getting shot in the ear sucks nuts. I managed to lose another mag for my Glock so I now have none for it, which is a pain because they are £20 a time, which isn't really money I have to throw around. Hopefully someone finds them, but I'm not holding my breath.
Is also my last week at university and as usual I'm putting off work, I would have had it done and in by now but I found out we had an extension so naturally I started putting it off. Mostly because the assignment is useless and is in VB which is pure crap.
I then have a fun summer of hardcore work action to try and hit my £3,000 target for my bike (a Honda CB500), so hopefully I reach the target. But then once I get the money to take the test (about £600) I will, then I can go to saving for the bike and gear and of I don't make the number by the end of the summer I can use my uni loan to get the bike so I can get a job well I'm at uni so I can run my bike plus mean I can get a good job and not worry about having to catch buses. So it's an action packed summer for me.
Take care, ~Jordan |

Hello,
So on Saturday (after about 2 hours sleep) I went to H&K Tactical World for a little airsofting goodness. Had a great day running around shooting people in the face, and the like too much fun to measure, and when I get round to it, I'll get the only photo taken and upload it here so you can see me all clad up and standing out like a sore thumb next to people in DPM.
The first part of the day we was taught a few things, such as how to patrol, peal off, and such, we then made our way to a woodland area (which was full of mozzies, which sucked) and played a few games of hide and seek (we had to find someone who was hiding and kill them before they killed us). During which I scored a pistol kill, but also managed to lose a mag (fell out of my holster), so I hope they find it as they aren't cheap to replace (about £20 a time).
After that we made our way back to the safe house charged and restocked our weapons and made our way to the lunch area for some grub, and went on for some fort based fun, followed by some speed ball (which was also very fun). After speedball we played some more fort action when a bunch of other people turned up and started to play some bigger games, such as VIP, so on and so forth, and for the last game of the day we went back to the fort for a huge fort gun fight, which saw pretty much everyone run out of power, though playing in the rain was awesome for the final game (the weather had stayed nice all day).
Everything was great until the return trip, when the guy I got a lift from decied his van was a car from WRC, and wrecked his drive tran turning on gravel too fast, which resulted in waiting for a tow truck to take us back to Manchester, but sucky for me all my airsoft kit, and jacket were held hostage in the back of the guys van because the tow guy wouldn't let me into the van when it was on the back of the wagon and he had to drop me off near Manchester City Centre as the guy lived some distance from me (by RAC rules he wasn't supposed to drop me off where he did, for what ever reason, so thank you tow truck guy), so I have to wait until Ovany can get a car to bring my kit to me, but mostly I just want my jacket back.
Anyway, I only have two weeks left now, with most of the action going down this week, an exam and my final assignment hand in date) then next week we have to demo the media player we created for Multimedia Programming (MMP). Then it is back home where I have to find a job to raise the cash I need to get my bike license and bike, which means I'll be working like a mofo. I guess that is it for this week.
Take care, ~Jordan |

That bitch bit me.

Hello,
So the airsofting didn't happen again, and for the same reason as before, I couldn't get transport, so I think I'll shelf this hobby until I get my own wheels, just because it'll make my life easier.
Today I went to see Spider Man 3. OH my God, I think I left their with a brain tumour, worst movie ever, and I have seen some pretty dire movies in my life, I mean seriously, they want people to pay to watch that shit? It is the first time I have been to a cinema in years, and it was a bad time to go. Last time was when I went to watch Wallace & Gromit: Curse Of The Were-Rabbit, which was pretty damn good, plus the person I went with didn't piss me off, which helped things. They made Spider Man an emo for Gods sake, I mean seriously, could they have made the movie any worse if they tried?
Seemed slightly silly of me to watch it today when I was going down with a bunch of the guys from MANC-AS to grab some grub and then watch the movie. I guess I could go twice, not that it is worth spending the money on twice.
The wait for Pure Pwnage Episode 13 (Season 2 Episode 1) was a much better use of time and money, and you should all watch it, because about 500 people all died of hemroids that night as the release time was pushed back so many times.
I've also been invited down to the farm again, so if I am able (as working to get a bike will be filling my time), I'll be going down there again, PUJ is the best car in the fleet too. I might have to steal it on my way back.
Take care, ~Jordan |

Or get shot, which ever comes first.

Hello,
Today's news is really based around my awesome new t-shirt by Flash Wear, the T-Equalizer. Damn is it a great piece of technology, and it grabs everyone's attention in a night club too.
I have added a new item to the gallery too, so you can check that out. The title I got from Annie, which I thought fit pretty well.
I am too gone to write anything constructive tonight, so I think I'll update this tomorrow when I wake up.
Take care, ~Jordan
Edit: On a sober review of the T-Equalizer, it is greatish, the sensor in it basically reads everything at full when you're in a club because of the amount of people talking and generating background noise, so it changes from an T-Equalizer to a T-Lights on. But then because of the volume (or lack there of) which I listen to music it doesn't really work at all when I'm at home, so it is lose lose. And thinking about the shirt logically, it was quite the waste of money, as I honestly don't think I am really going to wear it all that often.
This Saturday I should also be going on my first air softing skirmish, which should be a ton of fun, though it is going to be hot as hell, so I'll probably spend most of the day soaked in sweat passing out (because men don't faint) under a tree because it was a thousand and one degrees. I'll be sure to try and bum all the photos I can get my hands on and make a new gallery here for them, so keep an eye out for that next week.
I suppose that is all I have for this week, I can't remember what else I thought would be worth adding.
Take care, ~Jordan |
